Dr. Aulakh graduated from medical school from Queen's University, and completed family medicine residency at the University of Toronto.  She is dually certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, having completed a fellowship in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Aulakh is involved in sports medicine on a local, national and international level, having worked with Canada Soccer since 2016.  She is team physician for the Canada Soccer National Development Centre Ontario.  She sits on the OMA Section for Sport and Exercise Medicine executive and is a TUE Committee Volunteer for the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.  Dr. Aulakh has been part of the core medical team for the 2020 and 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.
